The best afternoon snack!


Goreng Pisang (banana fritters)
My favorite. Especially with dark brown crumbs on the outside. More honey sweetnes to taste that's what it tells you. So don't go with yellowish pale colour...look for the brown and burnst instead.





Cempedak Goreng
It's always oily. But the crispy outer layer and sweet juicy flesh on the inside. One is never enough. I like those with dark brown colour cause that tells you it's sweet.




Masala vadai.
I like it small and thin, therefore very crispy.
My version of masala vadai uses 'kacang dhal' pounded and mixed with udang kering, the rest is to taste, shallot chilli salt and all. A bit of flour to make it stick before I deep fry 'em.
