Went to Amsterdam in June
The weather was sunny.
But not for long
It rains...and cold
But it's Ok
STill tolerable.
One thing about the Netherlands, I don't have to fill in that tiny imigration form before we land.
Stayed at Amsterdam.
The hotel that we booked was not good.
The room was supersmall.
But service wise...Ok.
We moved to Crowne hotel the day after.
Cause there was no air cond.
The weather was hot, especially when you're inside.
The sun was still shining at 9 pm.
So ...guess what we cabut to look for airconditioned room..heheh.
Transportation
Took the train .
Cheap, easy, convenient.
If you are too tired to walk.
Just wait for the train.
They are everywhere.
just remember to (1) check in and (2) check out.
Food
I am a Muslim.
Lots and easy to find halal food.
Arab shop selling kebabs is easy to find
But if you're looking for something to satisfy your taste bud.
Try Sari Citra restaurant.
The best and halal Indonesian food in Amsterdam.
From sayoer tjampur to rendangs.

Go outside of Amsterdam
I joined the tour group cause I travel alone.
If you have friends you can go and discover the outskirt of Amsterdam yourself.
Volendam and Marken.
Such a beautiful place.
Beautiful house and small gardens.

They brought you to see how they make the wwooden shoes, cheese and all.
A boat trip around the big lake near marken.

the blue ceramic that the copied from Chinese.
They jewelleries out of them too.
Earrings, necklaces, bracelet.
Theyre expensive too.
I just bought a few small keychains for my daughters.
